About Sharon

Working from my studio in Edinburgh, I mainly paint on a smallish scale in acrylics, sometimes mixing with other mediums such as collage, oil pastels and ink pens.

​

I draw inspiration from nature; plants, animals, and the beautiful city of Edinburgh, and find I am particularly drawn to creating images of coastal settings featuring places I have visited throughout the UK, perhaps as I originally hail from the Dorset coast I feel happiest when I am near the sea.
